£4.99 is the price of the build credit. Payment is taken by Paddle, which shows you the full amount — including any tax that applies where you are — for you to confirm before you pay.

What a build credit does and does not include

• It buys the plan and the preview, not the parts. Part prices shown in a build are the retailer’s own prices for their products. You buy parts from them, not from ModMatch, and we take no payment for them.
• A credit is held while a preview is being made and spent when one succeeds. If a preview fails, the credit stays with that build so it can be tried again rather than being lost.
• Finished work stays available without paying again. Reopening a completed build or preview costs nothing.
• A preview is an illustration, not a photograph of a finished car, and it is never evidence that a part fits.
• Coverage is limited and honest. Supported cars get structured parts matching; for anything else ModMatch says so and gives visual output only. Where fitment is uncertain we mark it to verify instead of guessing.
